The non-use of Insulating Rubber Gloves and other personal protective equipment is a serious issue. Electricians and other contractors in private industry utilize electrical equipment on a daily basis. Insulated Rubber Gloves should be worn any time you are working with, or in the close proximity of, electrical power or live apparatus.


Terms for Tested or Recertified Protective Equipment


All high/low voltage rubber gloves are processed in accordance ASTM standards. Should any deviation to these standards be required, the request must be made in writing, at which time Lineman’s Testing Laboratories will reply to the request in writing before any changes are made.

All customers and end users should be advised that Lineman’s Testing Laboratories is not responsible or liable for the condition, status or integrity of any high/low voltage rubber insulating glove or protective device, once the product/equipment has left our facility.

The customer/end user is responsible for inspecting as per existing standards, all insulating devices, equipment and gloves prior to every use or as the applicable legislation or employee safety policies and procedures dictate.

Employers and end users must ensure that users of high/low voltage rubber insulating glove or protective devices of any description have had the proper training for care and use of the above listed products/equipment.
