We have a career opportunity for an assertive, dynamic and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative for the Ontario region to uncover and close sales opportunities with an emphasis on Power Utilities and electrical contractors. Targeting both existing and new clientele, you will identify accounts where LTL can position its extensive line of products and expertise. This is a challenging position in a competitive market and as a member of our national sales team, you will be required to communicate effectively and have outstanding attention to detail.
Reporting to the National Business Development Sales Manager, the successful candidate is:
•A driven sales performer with a proven track record of exceeding targets and increasing sales performance and profitability across an account base/territory gained through prior and recent outside sales experience.
•A strong communicator with extensive knowledge of, and relationships within, the Power Utility industry and electrical industrial market.
•A highly motivated, self directed individual who thrives on building and sustaining a business.
•A professional with diversified electrical and utility product knowledge developed through at least 3-5 years of progressive experience.
•Required to have post secondary education or relevant experience.
•To have extensive knowledge of the selling process, accompanied by the ability to work independently and manage your time and territory effectively within a competitive environment.
•A team-player with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills.
You will achieve planned sales goals by:
•Establishing sound sales strategies and approaching customers directly and quickly, establishing influence and professional credibility.
•Using a high level of relevant product knowledge, you’ll promote products and services while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
•Managing a territory and customer records, produce weekly call reports and communicate regularly with the National Business Development Sales Manager.
Compensation package includes a base salary (commensurate with experience), uncapped commission plan, car allowance, communication tools, expenses and benefits. This opportunity requires approximately 15-20% travel. You must have a valid driver’s license.
